JANUARY  FEBRUARY  MARCH  APRIL  MAY  JUNE  JULY  AUGUST  SEPTEMBER:    At about  September 20 of this year  the Danish physicist Niels Bohr comes to Cambridge University in England. He has made arrangements to study at the renowned Cavendish school under J. J. Thomson.  (SOURCE:  The Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes ((paperback)), pg. 64).      OCTOBER  NOVEMBER     DECEMBER  (NO SPECIFIC DATE):    At some time during this year in Vatican City, Eugenio Pacelli is elevated to the post of undersecretary in the Department of Extraordinary Affairs in the Roman Catholic Church.
